Valtran is located on 2415 Purchase Street in New Bedford and is in the business of the rental of mobile storage & offices, temporary fence systems, and owns and operates a self storage facility at the Purchase Street location. Valtran is also a registered Penske Truck Rental and Sales Agent.

Michael LeValley started Valtran in 2001 through personal investment and some SBA financing. As the company started to expand its operations, Mr LeValley purchased a building located on Purchase Street and approached the NBEDC and a local Bank for financing to help with working capital needs.

Over the past three years, the company has more than doubled sales, improved its margins, expanded its market base and created jobs in the City of New Bedford. This small business owner has demonstrated a management capacity and entrepreneurial spirit second to none. He constructed a business plan and projections that he not only met but exceeded. He has found ways to expand his business niche, continue the growth of his revenue stream and give back to the community.

The NBEDC is very proud to award Mr. LeValley with this honor.
